The Yerachimo is a calm and winding route. Along the way, there are riffles and one easy, picturesque rapid. The river banks are heavily vegetated and covered with bushes, so fishing along the route is primarily done from boats. The current is gentle: 0.8–1.2 km/h. Whitefish, grayling, perch, and pike are abundant. Taimen are often caught in late June. In 2020, 19 taimen weighing 9–17 kg were caught in the rapids!

Erachimo River
The Yerachimo River, located in the Turukhansky District of Krasnoyarsk Krai, is a remote and ecologically clean body of water in the Siberian taiga, ideal for trophy fishing. Flowing through a remote area, the river attracts anglers thanks to its abundance of large fish and pristine natural surroundings.
Types of fish
- Taimen: The main target of trophy fishing. This predatory fish can reach over 30 kg in weight, making it a coveted trophy. Due to its protected status, catch-and-release fishing is recommended.
- Grayling: Actively caught with spinning and fly fishing, especially in the evening hours when the fish rise to the surface.
- Lenok: A lively fish found in the main channel and tributaries such as the Nikendeken.
- Pike, whitefish, perch: These species complement the fish diversity of the river, allowing for a varied catch.
Features of fishing
- Fishing on Yerachimo takes place at a comfortable base. Daily airboat excursions to promising spots allow you to fish the rapids, holes, and riffles where large fish congregate.
