Let's take a look at the advantages of the new Ugly Stik GX2 spinning rod. What advantages does it offer, and does it have any drawbacks? We'll be reviewing it using the rod we purchased and personally tested.

Features of spinning

As announced at the ICAST exhibition, it became the 2024 winner in the following parameters:

• The spinning rod is more equipped, stiffer and much more advanced than previous models.
• In addition to its renowned clear tip design, the updated version features an "Ugly Tuff" guide coating, which enhances the rod's performance.
• The reliable, durable, rubberized "Diamond EVA" handle fits perfectly in the hand and serves flawlessly for a long time.
• A new reel seat has appeared, allowing you to catch any, even the weakest, bites.
• The rod comes with a 10 year warranty.
• The spinning rod is affordable, inexpensive, and suitable even for beginner anglers.

The brand's previous latest products were virtually identical. The new model is the most comfortable and high-quality.

Advantages of the Ugly Stik GX2 spinning rod:

This rod is designed for sea fishing, but that doesn't mean it can't be used on the Putorana Plateau fishing grounds. The advantages and benefits of the new model are as follows:

• The rod is reliable and durable, according to reviews it is rated 5 out of 5.
• The same goes for versatility and performance.
• The main advantage is the affordable price starting from 6000 rubles.
• The rubberized handle fits perfectly in the hand and is much more comfortable during long casts.
• High sensitivity, regardless of the materials of the spinning rod.
• The rod can withstand any accidents, falls, water, attacks from predatory fish, etc.
• It is excellent for catching large trophies, be it taimen or its relatives lenok, whitefish, and kunja.
• The spinning rod is light in weight and very comfortable.

Flaws:

It's worth noting that the 2024 winner also has its downsides, which look like this:

1. If you buy an affordable model, the sensitivity may seem less than ideal. This is mitigated by the transparent tip.

2. Casting is not always convenient due to the rigidity of the materials.

3. This rod cannot be called attractive or beautiful in appearance.
