We've already discussed why the Tyrolean bait is called a fishing lifesaver. This tackle allows you to catch a wide variety of fish, both predatory and peaceful.
On trophy fishing trips in the Putorana Plateau, the Tyrolean rod helps catch noble predators such as chub, grayling, and trout. Therefore, I'd like to share some life hacks on how and from what you can make one yourself.
What items and materials are required to make the tackle?
To make a Tyrolean stick, you will need the following:
· Weights can be chosen from different shapes, weights, and sizes.
· A swivel (triple), which will not only serve as a rig fastener, but will also act as an anti-twist device.
· Winding rings.
· PVC tube, IV hose, telephone cord, etc.
· Lures can be wobblers, spinners, jigs, nymphs, and silicone baits.

Types of Tyrolean sticks made by hand:
Tyrolean tires can be of two types, differing in their installation:
1. The weight moves forward, regardless of whether it has a fixed or sliding hitch, i.e., the tackle, weight, and leader. This rig is considered a classic. It can be used to catch pike, perch, or zander that are found near the bottom of the reservoir. It is somewhat reminiscent of a drop shot leader, but the weight is a tube. Making a classic model is quite simple. The fishing line is tied to a treble swivel using any knot, be it a clinch, Palomar, or figure-eight. The Tyrolean stick itself is threaded to the second attachment. And the leader is attached to the last attachment. All tackle must be tied with wet tying.
2. The rod moves behind the lures, secured with a deadbolt, i.e., a leader and sinker. This option is excellent for fishing grayling, trout, and chub. It is used in fast-flowing waters. The sinker with this rig constantly moves slightly behind, while the lure moves practically along the bottom. If cast against the current, for example, the flies will move significantly higher. This creates an excellent, lifelike action. To make a Tyrolean rig, follow these steps: The leaders are tied to the main line through a loop, using the so-called loop-in-loop method. Their length should be 15 to 25 cm. The leaders are tied at intervals from each other. A Tyrolean rod is attached to the ends. The sinkers can be pellets or buckshot, and the cap can be a piece of PVC, foam, or something similar.
Manufacturing instructions:
1. Cut the tube to the required length of 15-25 cm, leaving a small margin.
2. Insert and glue the weights to one end.
3. On the reverse side, we make a lid, making a hole in it for the ring clasp.
This is a simple design that can significantly increase your catch.

In brief about the main thing
Many experienced anglers call the Tyrolean rod a lifesaver. It offers numerous advantages and allows you to fish anywhere, even in places where few would dare cast their fishing gear.
The Tyrolean rod is useful for fishing on various trophy trips. Therefore, most anglers are always satisfied with their catch and the simplicity of the design. After all, many routes in the Putorana region are surrounded by wild nature, and the waters are often strewn with rocks, snags, and algae.
